The Itasca County Family YMCA is proud to offer a wide variety of seasonal sports opportunities for our youth.
Youth may reserve time in the Y's gymnasium for individual shooting and skills work. Family play is now available, in addition to youth pod play.

Everyone from kindergarten through adult is invited to learn the Japanese self-defense sport of Judo. Beginner, intermediate and advanced are welcome to come learn basic holds, throws, break falls, safe falls, injury prevention and balance. There are tournament opportunities as students progress.
Class meets on Saturdays:
8:30am-10:00am for those 16 years old and up
10:15am-11:25am for those 6-15 years old (inter/adv)
11:30am-12:30pm for those 6-15 years old (beginners)
Winter II: February 20-March 27
Spring: April 3-May 8
Summer I: June 5-July 17 (No Class July 3)
Summer II: July 24-August 28

Kids 8 years and up along with adults can learn self-defense, get physically fit and gain confidence by joining in this traditional Japanese Karate class. Wear comfortable clothing or purchase a uniform.
