The mission of the Itasca County Family YMCA is to strengthen ourselves, families and communities by promoting growth in spirit, mind and body. Our most important goal has always been to enrich the lives of kids, teens, families, and older adults in our community. Membership and program fees at the YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. To ensure no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we truly need your help.
Your participation in our Annual Campaign and financial assistance programs are vital in continuing the Itasca County Family YMCA's commitment to these projects. It allows the YMCA to serve more youth, adults and families in Itasca County.
“No one will be denied access to our memberships or programs due to an inability to pay.” This philosophy is at the core of our mission, and we provide financial assistance every year to assure that people are able to participate in childcare, day camp, membership, youth sports, and swim lessons. Members who qualify for scholarships retain some financial responsibility based on their ability to pay.
