At the YMCA, adult sports are about more than competition — they’re about connection, camaraderie, and staying active in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’re looking to relive a favorite sport or try something new, our adult sports programs offer a great way to move your body, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition.
Designed for a range of skill levels and interests, adult sports at the Y encourage teamwork, confidence, and overall well-being. From recreational leagues to open play opportunities, participants can stay active while building relationships and having fun.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting back into the game, our programs are welcoming and accessible for adults of all abilities. Programs and offerings vary throughout the year.
Families are always welcome at the Y. Parents of young children can enjoy their workout knowing their kids are safe and engaged with our FREE childcare services.
If you’re 16 or older and enjoy moderately competitive basketball, you’re welcome to join pick-up games at the YMCA. Games are organized by the players on the court and are open to adults throughout the year.

Pickleball is a paddle sport for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and easy to learn, making it a great option for beginners, while still offering fast-paced, competitive play for more experienced players.
The game combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net, and games may be played as singles or doubles.
During the winter months, pickleball is played in the YMCA gymnasium. Pickleball paddles and plastic balls are available for checkout at the Y’s membership desk.
