ITASCA COUNTY FAMILY YMCA

Child Care

The Itasca County Family YMCA will be with you and your child throughout your journey from infancy to kindergarten and beyond to after-school care and youth programming. The focus of the Y's Child Care is to support and strengthen the family unit by fostering growth and development. Programs provide a warm and safe environment in which children can experience positive and creative learning. The philosophy and policies of YMCA Child Care serve to forge a relationship with parents which is supportive. Child care environments are carefully planned to provide time, space and richness for each child to grow and learn. Materials and activities are provided to stimulate curiosity, wonder and creativity. The trained staff are knowledgeable in providing care which is specific to the age of the child.
