The YMCA Tutoring Center is a free service to the school kids of Itasca County. We operate after school beginning in October and run through the school year. Through funding from the Americorps Program, we are thrilled to have a full-time staff person available to head up this volunteer tutoring program.

Kids ages 8-18 can get help with daily homework or large projects. This free program has helped 100's of kids. Open 3:30-5:30pm Monday - Thursday on most school days October through May. Kids can take the bus after school straight to the Y!

The YMCA Youth Center is a drop-in center where youth ages 8-18 can go to relax with friends, play games, shoot pool, play the Wii, have a snack - and all for free! This Center is provided by donations through our annual Y Partners Campaign. Our snack program has been made available by funding from the Blandin Foundation.

Winter:  M - F     3:30pm-8:30pm
Summer: M - Thurs   2pm - 6pm
