Youth Center & Homework Help

The Y’s Youth Center provides a welcome and safe space for youth in grades 2 - 9 to relax with friends, be creative, get active using the Wii system, shoot pool, have a snack and more. Nurturing, trained staff supervise the Youth Center. A youth center brochure is available at the YMCA and signed Code of Conduct is required to attend. Free snack made available from a grant from the Blandin Foundation.

Youth Center Hours

During the School year:

  • After School - 7:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (STARTING APRIL 1st the Youth Center will CLOSE at 6:30pm)
  • Opens at 2:30pm on Wednesdays due to early release and
  • 1:00pm - 6:00pm on some ISD 318 days off, please call to confirm

Summer Hours

  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • 1:00pm-5:00pm
Homework Help

The Y offers no-fee homework help to students in grades 2 - 9 during the after school hours of 3:30 - 5:00, Mondays - Thursdays. We operate after school beginning in October and run through the school year. Volunteers are available to help students with their homework and school projects. Volunteers are necessary to offer the program, if you are interested in helping, please call Holly Neary at 327-1161 or email using link below.
